Visiting Angels is hiring experienced caregivers and CNAs to provide compassionate, one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors in Summerville and surrounding areas, including Dorchester, Berkeley, and Charleston Counties.

⚠️ IMPORTANT AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENT

Please apply only if you have availability between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, seven days a week.

You do not need to work every day. We are looking for caregivers who can accept assignments within this availability window based on client needs.

POSITION DETAILS

💰 PAY: $14.00–$16.00/hour based on experience and qualifications
📍 LOCATION: Summerville and surrounding areas
🕐 SHIFTS: 4–12 hour shifts may be available based on client needs
📅 SCHEDULE: Part-time; days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights may be available
🏠 CARE: One-on-one, non-medical care in the client's home

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and transfers
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare light meals according to dietary needs
• Provide transportation to shops, pharmacies, and appointments when needed
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow individualized care plans and safety procedures
• Observe and report changes in client condition

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• One year of professional in-home caregiving experience preferred
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or experienced caregiver experience welcome
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, respectful, compassionate, and professional
• Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
• Ability to follow client care plans
• Must pass required background and drug screening

Experience with Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, transfer benches, walkers, and other DME is a plus. Training may be available.

NO CNA LICENSE REQUIRED!
